HI-Tibbetts Point Lighthouse Hostel is located at the point where Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River meet. After the lighthouse became fully automated in 1976, the Victorian-era light keeper’s quarters was converted to a hostel. Don’t miss the chance to explore the Lighthouse Museum next door.

HI-Tibbetts Point Lighthouse Hostel offers great facilities including; a self-catering kitchen, beautiful garden, a playground and common rooms.

In the town of Cape Vincent, visit the Historical Museum, Fisheries Station - Aquarium and Breakwater Gallery. For a day-trip, explore the Thousand Islands or take the ferry from Cape Vincent to Wolfe Island and Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Such a cool place! We loved staying at a lighthouse, watching it come on at night after the sun set behind. We also had fun meeting interesting people form around the world. Comfy, clean and friendly, helpful staff.
