The location is excellent for those who want to be close to BART, Muni and the Union Square area. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, professional and efficient (especially Gina) -- couldn't be better. Room was very clean with a large ensuite bathroom. My mattress was a little too soft. Overall, a good value in a good location.

Where next?

Denver or Chicago by train: take the California Zephyr from Emeryville through the Rockies. It's a long trip but definitely worth it!
