The location is good, close to the BART & Metro station. There is lots of shopping in the area for those interested, as well as convenient access to good food and lots of good coffee. I stayed in a dorm, and it was very comfortable and clean. I felt safe staying in this hostel, and would consider staying here again when next I visit San Francisco.

Where next?

Denver or Chicago by train: take the California Zephyr from Emeryville through the Rockies. It's a long trip but definitely worth it!
