Ken was very welcoming. The place is a bit remote for people without car. As it's a wilderness HI hostel you don't have to expect a lot of comfort but sure, you will meet the greatest people there, talking around the fireplace eating marshmallows! Great experience!

Ken was really friendly and informative making this hostel my favourite out of the three I stayed at. The layout of be hostel encourages conversations and you get to know your fellow travellers really easily. Ken went the extra mile by providing a campfire even though it was raining!

Security please! A few ski sized lockers would be nice, though Ken was gracious enough to let us store our skis in his cabin. I imagine many of your guests bring expensive equipment, and there is little by way of hostel security while we are gone for the day.

Very cozy stay on the long weekend. Always a great hostel and Ken is a very welcoming host. First time we tried the sauna! Was awesome :-)

We had young group who made noise, doors shut for in and out without consideration of sleeping next door...
