Northwest Portland Hostel is centrally located in Portland's historic and vibrant Northwest/Nob Hill district. Guests can walk downtown to Amtrak/Greyhound, Washington Park, Powell's City of Books, local markets, the Pearl Arts district, Chinatown and much more. Nearby is Forest Park, the country's largest urban wilderness. The airport MAX train stops 5 blocks from the hostel.

The hostel is housed in two historic buildings and features dorms and private rooms, free Wi-Fi, outdoor gardens, a courtyard with barbecue, kitchen, dining room, coffee bar, common areas, free maps, free artisan breads and free parking.

Northwest Portland Hostel provides regularly scheduled free events for guests including walking tours and pub crawls. Van tours can be booked to Mount St. Helens, Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls and the Oregon Coast. During the summer, free weekly music concerts are held in local parks.

I really liked my 3 night stay, at first sight, I thought the house was really old etc., but everything was very clean, and staffs are awesome (really do their job!). also I enjoyed the bottomless world cup coffee, and delicious pastries in the morning. the guests were really nice as well.
