I'd suggest checking on the air circulation in the women's dorm once in a while. It was incredibly "stuffy" when I arrived and throughout the night. I wondered when a window had ever been opened! I opened a window the next day and it was much improved. Maybe open windows when cleaning? Thanks.

Hello! I'm glad you had an over-all good time at our hostel and hope to see you again some day! Just so you know, we do actually open all the doors and windows to the dorms and turn the fans on high for several hours every day to air them out, I apologize if it got stuffy with all the people staying in there. Cheers, Hanna

Although comfortable, this hostel attracts all kinds of people. This time, there was someone who coughed all night. I tried sleeping on the couch for a while, but gave up and had a listless rest. Next time if I stay here I'll try to reserve a single room so that I won't risk getting sick.

Beautiful setting, super friendly staff, great hiking spots and beaches nearby. We (family of 5) would definitely stay at this hostel again. And we appreciated the lower rate for kids under 13. One word of caution: mark your food with your name and the day you are leaving, otherwise it will be tossed!
