Apple Hostels of Philadelphia is located in Philadelphia's Old City, in a renovated 19th century building. Surrounded by the city's main attractions, shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, the hostel is within easy walking distance of the subway and bus stops.

The hostel has free Wi-Fi, free tea and coffee, a modern kitchen, free foosball table, free Wii games, Internet kiosks and a TV area. Every night at Apple Hostel Philadelphia there’s a different activity on, including ghost tours, wine and cheese nights, pasta dinners, pub crawls and movie nights.

Take advantage of a discounted walking tour of Old City Philadelphia, or visit Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell or the Philadelphia Visitor's Centre, which are just steps away.

The one glaring problem is the "delay" in reservations from the HI USA website to the hostel. I made this reservation two days in advance of my arrival date. It seems that my reservation, which did appear, albiet quite late in the game (after I had already signed in), could have been at the hostel immediately, instead of with a delay! I suggest checking your system's compatibility with other hostel computer systems. It appears there is a mis-match of service somewhere.
