Hostelling International

Welcome to our hostel

HI Montreal is centrally located in downtown Montreal, close to Ste-Catherine and Crescent streets, right next to Concordia University, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Bell Centre and the shopping district of Montreal.

The Montréal hostel offers shared and private rooms, each with their own private bathroom, a cafe-bar where you can enjoy breakfasts, dinners or a drink with other travellers, a fully-equipped kitchen that provides basic ingredients (help yourself, but leave some stuff behind for the others!), and free Wi-Fi.

HI Montreal makes a great base for exploring the vibrant, laid-back charms of Montreal. The hostel also organises free daily activities including bike tours, urban walks and pub crawls so you can get a real feel of the city.

The hostel is well placed for public transportation; the airport bus passes right in front and two metro stops are very near. The desk staff is friendly, savvy and helpful. There are two public use computers in the lobby if you need to check réservations, e-mail or look for directions. The quiet rooms are on the small size but have lockers and excellent security. Absolutely stand- out breakfast with enough options and healthy choices to make anyone happy. Superb bagels!

just one thing that according to the invoice I received when I book my stay online I only had a pending ammount of $101 CAD to pay plus the membership that it makes $126, but instead I got to pay $146, and the ammount I did pay for booking my stay seems to be didn't be considered it all at the time of my arriving to the hostel, The girls at the front desk and the tourist guide were so friendly but the guy whom received me at my arriving not really, so thats gives a thumb down in the rating.
