HI Montreal is centrally located in downtown Montreal, close to Ste-Catherine and Crescent streets, right next to Concordia University, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Bell Centre and the shopping district of Montreal.

The Montréal hostel offers shared and private rooms, each with their own private bathroom, a cafe-bar where you can enjoy breakfasts, dinners or a drink with other travellers, a fully-equipped kitchen that provides basic ingredients (help yourself, but leave some stuff behind for the others!), and free Wi-Fi.

HI Montreal makes a great base for exploring the vibrant, laid-back charms of Montreal. The hostel also organises free daily activities including bike tours, urban walks and pub crawls so you can get a real feel of the city.

One of the best hostels at which I have stayed. Very atmospheric, comfortable, and clean. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful, but sometimes they seemed tired and not-too-cheerful. Music in the public areas is a problem for older guests like us: Loud, insistent, driving beats may be fine for younger hostelers, but it just makes older travelers anxious and unhappy! I was glad I figured out where the noise was coming from the dining room and managed to lower it. No one seemed to mind!

Esta bien, se veia a todos contento. Ruidoso a la noche. Sobre todo desde la calle.
