The metal bunk bed isn't great for the shifting the other (above, or below) person makes in the middle of the night. The whole piece of furniture moves, as each person moves. Not the best for either person......

Hello and thanks for the feedback. The beds that we used are to most common in the hostel business, but I agree with you that this could definitely be improved! I am currently looking for different types of bed and hopefully we will be able to get a new type in the near future! Happy Travels, Nic, management team

We liked having local suggestions on the boards. The parking was a few blocks away and there was construction on the street which was less convenient for getting around, but hostel was in walking distance to many forms of public transportation and local eateries. The staff spoke both French and English which was helpful. We were in a 4 bed girls room and our roommates were polite and respectful. Breakfast was fantastic. ATM located in lobby for easy access to Canadian currency.

Staff was friendly. No storage for large bags on the first floor. Sewer smell. Mold in shower room. Room was hot and humid due to poor ventilation---even turning the t-stat to lowest temp did not work. Mudhole outside of hostel, due to construction. I had a near fatal car accident from lack of sleep because of the conditions at this hostel.
