HI Point Montara Lighthouse

Point Montara Lighthouse is situated on the rugged California coast, 25 miles south of San Francisco. A historic 1875 fog signal station and lighthouse have been preserved and restored into a hostel. Getting to the hostel: From San Francisco International Airport take 101 North to 380 West to 280 North to Highway 1 South (Pacifica exit). Drive south on Highway 1 From the Daly City BART station take SamTrans bus 110 to the Linda Mar Park and Ride in Pacifica. Then bus 17 south to Montara Free parking is available at the hostel on a first-come first-served basis. Take Amtrak to the Richmond (RIC) or Oakland-Coliseum/Airport (OAC) station then take BART to Daly City
