I love the environment of a hostel - the staff and the guests. Breakfast was good. The mattress was terrible. I needed to take it off the bed and out it on the floor to get to sleep. I may have overlooked the info - when I booked a private room I anticipated a double or queen bed and a second small bed. What are the regular accomodations in a private room? I notice we were billed for a few dollars less than I anticipated - was our room res changed?

HI - Martha's Vineyard, is my home away from my comfortable home in Boston. I have been there the last 3-4 years, and will forever go there. For the price - the service, the staff, the cleanliness (which is huge for me), is second to none. Thanks for maintaining the lovely place, and the outdoor showers are the bomb as usual. :)
