Nina and Pete proved to be exceptional and helpful hostel managers who, in my view, went above and beyond to engage with those staying at the hostel and ensure they were comfortable and not only able to enjoy their experience at the hostel but also connect with the local resources needed to travel the Appalachian Trail, visit Harpers Ferry, etc. Nina and Pete should be commended for their friendliness and responsibility; it was much appreciated.

Liked having a private room. Kitchen facilities was very adequate. Hot water faucet on the kitchen sink needs to be repaired so water isn't being wasted. Will definitely stay here again.

Great staff. I loved the evening meal and breakfast. As a hiker that is 6'5", it would be nice to have a bed that me feet don't hang off of the end of.

Thank you for the great review I am happy to see that you were able to enjoy a couple of our guest favorites the free breakfast in the morning and one of our evening meals that are hosted by the staff throughout the week. Not sure we can help you with your bed length at this time but will keep your feedback as we move forward. Be safe on the trail and look forward to having you visit us again in the future
