Enjoyed the comfort and friendliness of Harper's Ferry Hostel. I lucked out on free pizza night. Also very historic HF park.

Attraction tip

Climbing Maryland Heights to great views of Harpers Ferry, the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers. Also, a big bonus is that you can arrive in HFY by a short train ride from DC.

Budget meal tip

I didn't eat out, but I understand some places deliver to the hostel and they have a nice kitchen.
