I have never had a bad experience at this hostel! The staff is very friendly & helpful. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for some place affordable & with a friendly environment. The only thing I would note is that it is not 24 hours, so if you wanted to do anything in nearby in Washington, DC late at night & drive back to Harpers Ferry, then you might want to look at another location. However, it will be at your lost since this place is excellent! Stayed there multiple times.
