The staff was friendly and helpful. Hostel was kept very well and clean. Breakfast was nice and gave me a chance to socialize with other guests. I like the scenic location overlooking the Shenandoah River and being close to the C & O Canal and the Appalachian Trail. I would like to see HF Hostel open earlier in the spring, preferbly April 1,

I've been here 3 times in 4 years of travel. Hosts Nina and Ravi were very cordial. AT hiker guests always full of interesting storytelling. Very nice breakfast. Compost bin wasn't set up. Mattresses and mattress covers have a lot of mileage on them.

HI Harpers Ferry is efficiently run, very clean and had a congenial atmosphere. Having plenty of materials on local attractions, books, board games and a guitar made it a stay I'd like to repeat when in that part of the country.

Our experience here was fantastic! We biked from DC on the C&O canal and it was wonderful to have a hot shower and a clean bed. Also, besides the lively, fun and accommodating atmosphere, there was so much free food! The staff made pizza and provided wine at night. In the morning: pancakes, bacon and eggs. They even provided PB&J ingredients for us to make sandwiches and had a fruit basket. Overall, just an incredible value. Well worth the money for a stay in Harper's Ferry. Thanks again!
