Located between Banff and Lake Louise, the warm and hospitable Castle Mountain Wilderness Hostel offers outdoor enthusiasts a wide range of adventures, from hiking alpine trails to skiing at nearby resorts. We are also ideal for a stress-relieving getaway, set amongst beautiful natural surroundings with plenty of forest and wildlife.

The hostel features a bright, cosy common room with a wood-burning fireplace and large bay windows. There is also a self-catering kitchen and BBQ area, bicycle storage, free car parking and laundry facilities. During winter the great skiing of the Banff/Lake Louise area is set up.

So why not come and stay in the beautiful Rockies of Banff Park at Castle Mountain Junction?

I love Castle Mountain Hi-Hostel. It is away from Banff & Lake Louise, true nature lovers come here, instead of partiers. Hikers, cyclists, tourists who want to enjoy nature and peace. I love that this hostel's guests & staff respect each other, the space and nature. If you wish to be left alone, you are left alone, but if you would like to join in and visit, then you are welcomed. Tony takes great care in the hostel and it feels as if you are his houseguest and he is your host and tour guide.
