Had short layover in Baltimore: arrived just before Taco Night (7:30pm) & able to meet fellow hostelers over meal. Had planned tour that brought be back at 12:30am. Had to leave at 5:30am for airport. Before bed, I spent some time in most beautiful common room! While planning drive to airport, lovely staff came to check on me. Bed was comfortable: wanted to miss my flight. Upon leaving, staff helped me with bag & directions. Too sleep deprived to recall names but remember kindness. Great staff!

I had a very positive and sociable time,at the hostel and would definitely stay there again. Location was practical from the airport also. One thing I'd say though. You didn't specify which stop to get off at, just downtown for the train. Popping that up would be helpful to other travellers. Pancake breakfast and use of the kitchen was wonderful.

I had a very pleasant experience. I loved the old architecture and what the hostel managed to do with the space. I also love that the dorms were very comfortable and had easy access to electrical outlets. The only negative was that during the training, that it was sometimes difficult to get a staff member.

Thank you for the lovely review , you mentioned our architecture the hostel is located in the historic Brownstone "Bennett House" which is listed on Baltimore's list of Historic places. I do apologize for the staff training which was being done as part of our efforts to continuously improve our services.

The staff was very friendly. Location of the place was good as well. One concern, I wish there were directions for parking in the broucher, I ended up paying 21$ for parking for a night being first time in the city :(.
