HI Athabasca Falls Wilderness Hostel

Part of HI Canada’s Wilderness Hostels network, this hostel is located right beside the spectacular Athabasca Falls in the remote wilderness of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, in Jasper National Park.

HI Athabasca Falls Wilderness Hostel offers three comfortable sleeping cabins and a large cookhouse where guests gather to share meals and relax. This hostel offers a taste of off-the-grid living — it is solar powered, fresh mountain well water is provided, it’s equipped with rustic outhouses and there are no showers. The surrounding area provides an abundance of scenic hiking, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails. After the day’s adventures, guests can enjoy the hostel’s library, board games and some marshmallows over the nightly campfire.
