Eurohostel Helsinki is one of the largest year-round open hostels in Scandinavia. The hostel is located in central Helsinki in a unique part called Katajanokka, close to the Market Square and easily accessible by tram.

All rooms have separate single beds with a table, chair and at least one lockable wardrobe. Each of the five floors has its own well-equipped self-service kitchen, separate toilet and shower facilities for men and women and cable-TV. Additional facilities include a fully licensed restaurant, daily buffet breakfast, Wi-Fi and a sauna.

Helsinki Tourist Tickets, Helsinki Cards (get free travel around the city, free entry to major museums and sights and many other discounts) and tickets to Serena Water Amusement Park and SeaLife Helsinki are available at the 24 hour reception.

Guest were smoking in rooms. Curfew at not enforced. Staff did not disclose discount for HI members when purchasing product/services. No composting recycling bin in kitchen. No room to leave refrigerated left over food.

Highly reccomended as it offers a great price, especially if you have your HI card. Good staff and nice location. I would prefer it had more showers and toilets.
