Only Hosteling International place in Hanoi. YHA membership -10%. Ideally located and the staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Bag storage is available if you do trips. Breakfast is included, a bit basic but a reasonable choice. Rooms are variable, stayed here for 5 nights overall on 2 occasions using 3 rooms, rooms using the lift they are much better, all were comfortable and clean. There are many similar hotels in Hanoi and I am sure all equally as good but this would be a good choice.

I can't say enough about this hostel!! They were so wonderful to us!! They were able to recommend some great trips- book everything for us, and even had a significantly cheaper rate for a flight than what was listed online! The staff are so friendly and helpful! And there is so much information available. The rooms are nice, showers are hot and have good pressure. One of our rooms had a bad water smell, but there's really not much that can be done about that. Would recommend over and over

central location in the Old Quarter. walking distance to cultural attractions & museums. limited resources on site. staff have a good command of English. staff do not suggest local attractions/events. local activities board was emptied during my sojourn. check-out day, I did see board sprinkled with some evening music events. do ask what brochures/prices for excursion. I was booked with Viola Cruise for Ha Long Bay - which is comfortable, but I would like to know other opportunities.

Nhung and her team were incredible. They were so nice that i even thought it was a scam and that I would be hit with a big "service" bill at the end. But, they were just genuinely nice and helpful. They completely booked and lined up all my plans for the entire time i was in Vietnam arranging for trips and accommodations through all my travels in the country. They really went above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone.

This is one of the pleasantest hostel stays I've ever had. The staff of the Rendezvous are delightful people, helpful, full of good humour, and very kind. Highly recommended!

I just spent 6 nights in a private room at Hanoi Rendezvous. Not only was the staff incredibly friendly and went to great lengths organising trips, but also the rooms were very spacious and clean, with AC, waterfall shower, TV and fridge. Also, breakfasts are included. Moreover, the hostel is located very centrally so that getting around by foot is very easy. Only con: I had a room with the only window going out into a tiny shaft so it was very dark. Opt for room with proper daylight if you can.
