It was pretty great there. I got a very early check in which was a awesome! I did rock up at 7:30am and they let me check in straight away because they couldn't find my booking for a while. The location isn't great with having to climb hills and steep stairs to get there but it is almost between 2 stations so that was a plus. The room was awesome!

hangout@mt.emily is a perfect place for traveller looking to do some shopping on Orchard road. Little India is a stone throw away as well with massive amount of inexpensive food stalls. The hostel itself has an amazing rooftop terrace and very comfortable rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Budget meal tip

Wouldn't recommend the budget food we found nearby; perhaps a little further afield would have been better. A general map showing eating locations (it wouldn't need names of places or much detail) would have been welcome.
