Hostel Flåm is a seasonal hostel which is open 1 April - 31 October. The hostel is located at the end of Norway's longest fjord, the Sognefjord, and also at the end of the famous Flåm railway line, one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world.

A range of accommodation options are available including single rooms, double rooms, 4 bedded dorms and family rooms. Facilities include a kitchen, laundry, Wi-Fi and garden. Although the hostel does not serve breakfast it's a short 5 minute walk to local shops, cafes and restaurants.

Hostel Flåm makes a great starting point for many activities including walking and biking in the Flåmsdalen and Aurlandsdalen valleys; kayaking on fjords; fishing; visiting the Flåm Railway Documentation Centre and the Njardar Vikings, where you can row a Viking boat on the fjord.

Loved this place -- so clean and fantastic location. I stayed in the 4-bed room, plenty of space and very convenient placement of electrical outlets for each bed. Speaking of which, staff also lent me a European adapter for my stay when I accidentally lost mine. Would love to stay here again should I be fortunate enough to visit Norway again :)

Attraction tip

Take a hike in Aurlandsdalen, or a boat trip into the fjords from the quai. Or a bus trip to neighboring villages. All nice!
