Beijing Far East International Youth Hostel is a lovely traditional style hostel, set in a quiet, Hutong neighbourhood and only a 10 minute walk away from Tian’anmen Square, Qianmen Business Center and the Forbidden City. The hostel has a rich history, being the former residence of a warlord in the beginning of the last century.

Beijing Far East International Youth Hostel is close to many local restaurants, small stores, a post office, Bank of China and supermarkets. The hostel is in a traditional Chinese courtyard, offers a TV and common room and has Internet access.

The hostel also provides bicycle rentals so that visitors can enjoy the Hutong area at their own pace. Other sights worth seeing close to the hostel include, The Great Wall, Shichahai Lakes, the few remaining Hutong neighbourhoods and The Legation Quarter for nightlife.

The rooms were clean but the bathroom and kitchen... Need some cleaning. Good location.

i really like it! was clean, good located, if i can suggest some things, would be for the reception staff, to learn more english. Because is needed! They tried to help me all possibile way, but was difficult to communicate with, Other things i am so satisfied! Was remarcable and good at all.

10 m from hostel is small place. Looks a bit odd, but noodles are delicious.
