I had a postive experience here and Peter was very helpful with advice both before my arrival via email and while I was there. The room was tidy and came with it's own bathroom. It is located in an area a bit far from town, which for me was great because I like to walk, but for some it may be too far. There were dogs barking occasionally, which I also like, but for some this may pose a problem. Inexpensive and serves it's purpose. I would stay here again as well as recommend it.

Thank you to Peter for a wonderful stay in Chiang Mai. He was very friendly and showed us how to get around town. The hostel itself is away from the center of town and the inner ring roads, but we really liked how quiet it was. Getting a tuk tuk or truck was no problem at all (average 60-100 baht to get into town). We were also quite happy to walk the 45 minutes as well since you get to see so much more this way. We orginally booked for 1 week and ended up extended our stay 4 extra days.
