The hostel was very empty for a youth hostel. Budapest suffers from an oversupply of budget accommodation and there is soooooo much private competition.

The hostel is very good but dont have breakfast. The room is comfortable, but there's a share bathroom, and it's not too good, but... Its a good and safe place to rest.

The location is quite far away from the city centre, and the nearest metro station was 10 - 15 minutes away by foot, and to be honest it felt like a dodgy area. The toilet inside the room wasn't cleaned up properly when I was about to use it. However, the staffs were quite friendly and helpful but be prepared to take some cash as they couldn't accept card payment.

The staff were not very helpful with answering simple questions, but they were mostly friendly. This hostel has a terrible location. I don't know about the energy rating.

I had a terrible time here. I was the only female in a coed 6person dorm which would have been fine except there the shared toilet and shower didn't have a working lock. I asked the front desk and nothing could be done. No pad lock could be added nor could they move me to another room. I was not impressed. There was food left laying around the shared kitchen .
