The Boulogne-sur-Mer hostel is located south of the city centre and makes a good base for exploring the old town, the big fish market and the Nausicaa sea life centre. The hostel is very close to the train station making it very easy for guests to visit the surrounding areas.

Accommodation is in 2-4 bedded rooms with ensuite bathrooms and facilities include kitchen, meal service, pool, bar, and TV room. The hostel also has a garden, BBQ and Internet access.

At the top of the town, lies the ‘old town’ dominated by the belfry and dome of the Cathedral. The Rue de Lille leads up from the square where the Town Hall stands and is lined with a variety of shops and plenty of historical sites. Visitors can expect to see the Gallo-Roman walls, the old port, a 13th century Château, and the Natural History Museum.

It was wonderful. I was fortunate to have a room to myself. And it's great to be able to open a window for fresh air. Can't think if any improvements - a plug for the bath perhaps?
