Staff are friendly but you need to approach them - having said this Kathleen, who checked me in, was very helpful! HI claim the hostel is signposted from the station, but I found nothing in 3 days there! I would advise printing a map from HI website. Early June and I had a 4-bed dorm to myself for 3 nights. This hostel ideal for seeing the coast of Belgium - which is something you'd never have guessed unless you've seen the BBC Coast programme.

Budget meal tip

Lidl. It's just 5 mins walk on the road out of town. The hostel has a kitchen and you can eat in or out in their courtyard. On the seafront there's loads of eateries, including Frituurs with their smelling chip cooking!
