The hostel lobby is pretty and the yard is nice. However the rooms are too expensive for what they offer. Our two-bed room was really tiny and we had to cross the yard to go to the bathroom - what is awful at night in winter! There was only one bathroom for quite a lot of people and one would even have to go out of the hostel, cross the street to get to another building for another bathroom. The food is expensive for average hostel food. We experienced better hostels in China!

The architecture is great: hostel is located in a traditional hutong building, and my provate room was nice. Reception staff is also very nice. Anyway, prices are high, breakfast is just soso and it takes ages to be prepared. Moreover, it is forbidden to stay in the hall night-time cause the nightguard wanna sleep peacefully... incredible! Last but not least, wi-fi worked very bad, almost impossible to be used. Overall, I will not suggest to stay in this place.
