Located in a very quiet area of Barcelona, Mare de Deu de Montserrat Hostel is based in a beautiful refurbished 100-year-old mansion, just 15 minutes from downtown by tube or bus.

On offer are rooms of 6, 8 and 12 beds, free lockers, Internet access, TV, pool, board games, a restaurant that serves a range of food from pizza to paella, and free breakfast. The hostel also has many outdoor areas with benches and seats, lushly surrounded by garden and palm trees so you can relax after a day’s sightseeing.

Nearby attractions include Tibidabo Mountain, where a climb to the top will be rewarded with spectacular views of the city and surrounding coastline, and Park Güell garden complex, where you can stroll around the impressive gardens designed by famous architect Antonio Gaudi.

Where next?

Si vous êtes capables d'aller à l'AJ à pied depuis le métro Vallcarca, boycottez le funiculaire de Montjuic, ça se fait rapidement à pied.
