Located in New Delhi's tranquil diplomatic enclave this hostel makes a good base from which to visit the parliament buildings of Lutyens, the Red Fort and the Qutub Minar among other sights.

The New Delhi Hostel is open 24 hours, breakfast and sheets are included and family rooms are also available. Facilities at the New Delhi Hostel include TV, carrom and chess boards, terrace, common room, laundry and meals.

New Delhi has lots to offer to travellers, historical sites include the Humayun’s Tomb which is surrounded by the fiercely symmetrical Mughal gardens, the narrow bazaars of Old Delhi, the mosque Jama Masjid, and Gandhi’s simple tomb set in peaceful gardens.

It is located in the embassy area so you need to go by tuk-tuk or by bus which I haven't tried. Some staff are friendly and some aren't. The good thing was there was a mobile phone charger at many places inside the hostel. The bad thing was there was no hot water in the shower room - it is really freezing if you take shower at night.
