YHA Adelaide operates in the right 'spirit' of HI/YHA; good attitudes and good management. Spacious and clean. That said, YHA Australia and Adelaide has recurring issues of cannabis smoking in designated tobacco-smoking areas. This illegal practice needs to stop. YHA Australia should impose an absolute non-smoking policy in all areas of their hostels, and thereby excluding the nuisances from both tobacco-smoke and cannabis-smoke. Impose a 100% non-smoking policy for YHA Australia hostels!

Spacious hostel, very good mangement, clean, pleasant atmosphere. All YHA hostels in Australia should adopt a 100% smoke-free premises. With a 100% tobacco ban, there would subsequently be no issues of some individuals smoking cannabis on the Australian YHA premises. Investment towards additional power outlets for recharging communications devices would be nice.
