How to spend your holiday in Bangkok when you are staying in our HI Hostels

Whilst staying at one of our Bangkok hostels, you have many chances to enjoy Bangkok likes the locals: eating at China town market, visiting the Emerald of Buddha temple, shopping at Siam and MBK shopping mall or just relaxing on the Chao Phraya River express boat.

If you have more free time, we recommend you take a day trip to visit one of the many nearby cities. You will have a remarkable journey within the Kingdom of Thailand. These are our most popular routes:

Day Trip to Ayutthaya Historic Park: Only 1 – 2 hours from Bangkok, visit our former capital. It’s now considered as a must for you to visit. Ancient Ayutthaya city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its cultural value to Thailand and the world.

Day Trip to Muangboran (Ancient City): It is located very near to Suvarnabhumi Airport (30-40 minutes by car). This is the best place for anyone who wants to explore all sightseeing in Thailand within 1 day. More than 100 miniatures and replicas in Thailand can be seen in this outdoor museum.

Day Trip to Sampran Riverside (formerly known as Rose Garden Riverside): A must visit for visitors to learn about Thai way of life. You can learn how to grow vegetables and fruits within organic farm. In addition, you can relax in the world famous Thai spa or choose to cook Thai cuisine with authentic Thai chefs.

Day Trip to floating Market at Damnoen Saduak: Only 2 – 3 hours by car from Bangkok, you can visit areal floating market in Thailand - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. You will have a chance to buy fruits, vegetables, noodles, seafood, or even Thai desserts from local sellers there. Come early as the market closes at noon.
