  I love HI-Santa Monica. I haven't stayed in years and liked the small updates that have taken place since my last visit. The bathrooms were a little dirtier than in the past, but not horrible.

  5 stars for this hostel. The staff is very efficient and helpful. The space is wonderful! It is a great place to meet other travelers.

  Very clean, staff was really helpful and nice. The location is right near the cathedral and a short walk to just about everything.

  The Lounge area was just like a Train Station waiting area The only thing missing was the trains Not very comfortable. I am sure someone could turn this into a proper Lounge suitable for a Hostel and a further room made for the TV. Have a go
