Visit Sapporo Snow Festival (February 7-13th 2011)
This is one of Japan’s largest and most successful winter events – not to be missed! Be one of the two million who come to see the amazing and spectacular sculptures. For a week in February the area is transformed into a true winter wonderland of gleaming crystal-like ice and snow. You can stay in the Sapporo International hostel located in the Hokkaido region with good transport links.
