It is the largest National Park in England & Wales and makes a great holiday destination with an abundance of things to do, whether you fancy a lakeside stroll or a challenging hike; a leisurely cycle ride or mountain biking through the forest; kayaking on the river; fishing; visiting historical landmarks or just enjoying the breath-taking scenery.
CotswoldsAn 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' in the south west of England, the Cotswolds is quintessentially English. The region has a wonderful rustic charm and the gentle hillsides, farmlands, sleepy villages and historic market towns help make it undeniably beautiful and a great place to explore.
Stay at YHA Stow-On-The-Wold to explore the heart of the Cotswolds; discover the World Heritage City of Bath and its beautiful Georgian architecture with a stay at YHA Bath; or visit the home of the great William Shakespeare and stay at YHA Stratford upon Avon.
SnowdoniaThe Snowdonia region in north Wales is home to Snowdonia National Park, a park covering 823 square miles full of mountains, lakes, rivers and coastline. This stunning scenery provides the perfect backdrop to do some walking or hiking, or for the more adventurous some mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking or even canyoning. Stay at Bryn Gwynant YHA, located in 40 acres of woodland and ideal for outdoor activities.
Snowdonia is also home to 'Snowdon', the highest mountain in England and Wales. Stay at the Snowdon Ranger YHA and take the challenge to climb up to the summit, or simply catch the Mountain Railway and enjoy the scenery on the way up.
