Visit Italy:Venice, Milan & Rome. For Wiki, I strongly recommended to stay even though it is far from Rome. Take a train from Rome to Zagarolo for ~20 min: staff'll pick you up at train station to Wiki. There's a schedule driving the guests from/to Wiki hostel to Zagarolo train station and you can call them for pick-up when return at late evening till last train. We got a very warm welcome here(sorry to say that I did not find the same at other hostel) BTW, staffs of hostel in Milan were nice too, so now you know which hostel I had bad experience with their staffs:)
Wiki hostel was nice and I felt warm as if I was visiting my cousin's home. They had everything you need: books, guitar and Piano :O

There was a problem with our accommodations. They messed up our private room and so the first night we had to stay in a dorm room. We were compensated with a free dinner. The stay in the dorm wasn't so bad. The food was okay. This place is better during the summer perhaps when the pool is open. It's a 30 min. train ride to Roma Termini.
The disadvantage of this place is its location and distance from Rome centre. The hostel site says there are dozens of trains a day so I was not expecting any problem. I arrived in Rome Terminus at about 9pm and found I had to wait over two hours for the last train at approx 11.10pm which got me to Zagarolo about 30 minutes later. Then in the pitch dark it took ages to find the place. If travelling by train I recommend arrive early.
Warm & friendly welcome from hosts. Very helpful in every way. Close enough to Rome & very close to Tivoli & Palestrina which are worth visiting for Roman archaeology. Zagarolo itself is a pleasant little town.
the best hostel we've ever stayed in. the staff were amazing - really helpful and friendly. they pick you up from the station, and will drop you off for the Rome train and collect you in the evening. the rooms were lovely and big and spotlessly clean; nice common areas, free wifi, vending machine for coffee, tea, water, snacks - very reasonable. nothing is too much trouble for these guys. terrific.
The staff was amazing. The price was way too high, though. A healthier breakfast would have been nice (incl. fruits etc.). Too noisy doors that couldn't shut without you causing everyone to wake up.
We were only there for one night. We reached zagarolo train station at around 10 pm. It was difficult to find out the place. But staff from wiki hostel came to pick us up from the train station. So we could reach there with out any problem. nice big rooms.. very clean..
Nice place quiet, decent kitchen and meals they served were above average nice garden food store near by
It's really a eeeeeeeexcelent hostel!! Staffs are both nice! & beautiful place. Although it is a little far from Rome, it still worthy!!
I loved this place! Everyone was really friendly:)

| Airport: | Rome has 2 different airports, we suggest to get to Wiki hostel by public transport (train). Please note if you arrive after 9 pm a private transfer (shuttle service, extra payment needed) may be it is the best solution, so just if you arrive really late send an email to Wiki hostel in order to ask for this service. Here all the infos you need to get to us from Rome airports : 1) From FIUMICINO ("Leonardo da Vinci") airport : the main international airport it is located about 50 minutes North outside of Rome downtown so you have to go to "Rome Termini" train station first (the faster solution it is the train-shuttle “Leonardo Express”, about 15 Euro by person direclty from the airport indoor train station OR the slower but cheapest solution it is the bus-shuttle, about 4/8 Euro just out the airport sliding doors). Take a look on "Rail" section for more infos about how to get to Wiki hostel once you are in Rome Termini train station. 2) From CIAMPINO ("G. B. Pastine") airport : serving all the major low cost flight companies it is located 20min South outside of Rome downtown, in this case you can get to Wiki directly from Ciampino train station (it means you do NOT need to get to Rome Termini train station first). When you arrive go out the airport exit door, and just look for a ride to Ciampino train station. Ciampino train station it is about 5/10 minutes from Ciampino airport, but you can just reach the station by bus or taxi (no by walking). The bus stop just in front of the exit, it is the best and cheapest (about 1 Euro) solution, ask directly if the bus it is ok for Ciampino train station and buy directly from him your ticket. Check the bus timetable, if the waiting for the next bus it is too long you are forced to ask for a ride to the taxi driver, please note taxi they do not have to ask more than the due for a short same local area ride (till 10/15 Euro is ok, more it is not). Take a look on "Rail" section for more infos about how to get to Wiki hostel once you are in Ciampino train station. It not possible to go to Ciampino train station by walking.
