The best place to stay for visiting Vienna: in 15 minutes you can reach the city centre with a very efficient line of bus and Underground. The location leaves you breathless!!! Breakfast is better than in many of the 3 stars hotels I've visited!

This hostel is really quite far from the city centre and all the main city attractions. However, in terms of views, it is located on a hill with stunning views of the city. The rooms are a little cramped, though, so I would take that into consideration when deciding to stay here.
Hostel Overview
Offering great views over Vienna, the 41-bed hostel is set close to the Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg and is surrounded by a forest, vineyards and meadows. The city centre is 25 minutes away by public transport. Most rooms have four beds and private bath and toilet. Facilities include table tennis, pool table, and cable TV.Green Hostel: Awarded the Austrian ecolabel, the youth hostel serves fair trade and organic products for breakfast which is included. The Palace Hostel Schlossherberge is a non smoking Hostel.
