there were very little water in the showers, no ac, nice terras frendly staff. No key so you can get in after midnight, you have to ring a bell

Absolutely great! One of the best -if not the best- hostels I ever stayed in. The staff does a great job, they were extra helpfull and always nice. Breakfast is a bit poor, some fruits and fresh cheese would be a great addition. I was a little worried about the front door, which was locked during the night. What happens in case of fire? ...

we had an amazing stay in veli, the location was perfect for both exploring the island on foot, reaching the most secluded coves and going to mali losinj for some nights out. the staff was super friendly and also helped us organizing the rest of our trip. highly reccomended.

Hostel Overview
This lovely hostel is located in the center of picturesque Veli Losinj, just a few steps away from the main port and St. Anton's 'pink' church. The hostel is settled in an old villa, with a little mediterranean garden, terrace and a private bar. There is also FREE INTERNET (WI-FI) and a common (dining) room with a TV. There are 50 beds in total in 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedded rooms and each room has a wash basin, showers and toilets are on all the floors. We only serve breakfast. According to your preferrences we can recommend you the best dining places among the numerous restaurants. Losinj has 100 years of tourism history. It can thank it's popularity to numerous plants and mild climate which helps health recoverings. (Austrian Habsburg Duke Karl Stephan built his residence here. Owing to the exceptional characteristics of the climate Lošinj was proclaimed a climatic health resort by a decree of the Ministry of Health of the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy in 1892. Soon it became a popular holiday destination of the Austrian-Hungarian aristocracy, who built numerous villas and summer residences on the island. Lošinj is still a famous climatic health resort suitable for treating diseases of the respiratory tract and allergies.) The sea water is crystal clear here and your skin can get better just by enjoying the beach, rocks, pebbles and sand. There are kilometers of walking, hiking and biking trails, scent gardens, water sports, trips to discovering neighbouring islands, dolphins, or you can just simply chill out on our relaxing terrace with the best prices in town.. | Bus: | To arrive to Veli Losinj you should pass Mali Losinj and then take Hotels bus to Veli Losinj which are running every 1 hour. There are also buses from Rijeka every day (www.autotrans.hr), ferries connecting island with main land (www.jadrolinija.hr and www.splittours.hr).
