Dorm doors are VERY loud opening and closing and I was frustrated by people who wanted all lights out at 9:30 pm. For these reasons I left one night early and forfeited my money to drive home to Seattle late at night. It was also sort of disappointing that the cafe was closed.

Front desk staff was slow. We waited (and waited) numerous times for help at the desk. My friend and I checked in at different times, and were told different rules/information each time. It would have been nice to have a list of things to do in the Jericho area by the hostel staff. Overall, the hostel was secure, bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner, but the location was great. If you enjoy beach life, this location is great.

Suited my needs. Why can't one park vehicle at the back of the hostel as it is an added $6 per night for parking. Kitchen utensils such as kettle could be replaced
