Would recommend to others. Not immediately accessible to the center of town, but near the artsy district. My one negative comment on the hostel was that I couldn't get my room until 5 PM because the place was closed from 12-5.

I cancel the stay due to the lack of cleanliness, and private toilets For 10 Euros Plus per night I got that and more some meters away

Locating the hostel was a problem as the english directions are WRONG, it took me an hour to find it. Definately look up the address on a map before setting off with their directions they email you. Other than that, no problems. It was nice to get a private for so cheap and the breakfast was great, they even have an espresso machine! The showers need some work, there are some logistical problems with water drainage. They leave a squeegy to push the water down the drain after you shower... it's sort of funny really.

I found the best showers, most of the staff speak fair English but still took the time to support my trying to speak French. I have stayed here before and shall do so again.

Ideal base and friendly place for visiting the Loire Castles, the hostel is located next to Plumereau Square, an animated place in this atmospheric city... and close to the river Loire.MEMBERSHIP CARD IS COMPULSORY: 7€ for under 26, 11€ for over 26, 20€ for families with children under 16, 7€ for foreigners. RATES 2012:22.04€pppn(sheets, breakfast &city tax inc) bike rental 12 € per day MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR FOREIGNERS COSTS 7 EUROS You can have a refrigerator in your room for 0.50 € per day. Book by email (tours@fuaj.org) and pay on arrival. WiFi in the hostel

Bus only circulates until 20:00. You can take bus N4 Place Jean Jaurès, at 21:30, 22/30, 23:30, 0:30 & 1:30. Stop at Fac des Tanneurs, in front of the hostel. |
