Tel Hai Hostel has met or exceeded my expectations in all areas.

first time in an israeli hostel.very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable everything was. and we had a private terrace too. this particular hostel is very well located for great hiking.

We stayed with our our two young children in July 2011, and we really enjoyed the hostel. The vista's, views, and outdoor spaces were lovely and spacious. The room was large and clean. Although the hostel was full of young tour groups, it was still quiet and we didnt hear any noise in our room. The breakfast was basic but adequate with lots of fresh food. We will stay in the hostel next time we return to Israel. It was close to Nimrods castle, the Banyais, and many other beautiful hikes, and it was only about half an hour north of the kinneret. Check-in was quick and efficient, the staff were more then helpful with directions and suggestions. A great place to stay, especially if you dont enjoy being in a large hotel.
Hostel Overview
The Tel-Hai guest house resides on a hill facing the view of the Golan Heights, Mount Hermon and the Upper Galilee.2 Dining Rooms: 250 seats, 150 seats. Breakfast included in price. Additional meals (including packaged meals) should be ordered in advance. Food is Kosher.
