Hostel Overview
Our hostel offers views of Lake Taupo and the snow covered mountains of Ruapehu, Tongariro & Ngauruhoe.Our hostel is centrally located only 5 mins walk to town and the lakefront. Modern facilities, high standards of cleanliness and great staff make this the perfect base for your stay in Taupo.
A wide range of comfortable accommodation is available from the 8 share rooms for the budget traveller to the smaller well appointed 4 share rooms and the private ensuites...
Great kitchen facilities, video library, table tennis and volleyball court, and a hot tub for relaxing after your day. Hostel has secure bike storage area.
We can organise your track transport for the Tongariro Crossing including pick ups at the front door. Don't forget to ask the staff about discounts on activities!
YHA New Zealand is a non-profit membership organisation. Non-members pay an additional NZ$3 per person per night.
YHA & Hostelling International Members receive 10% off the standard (displayed) price. This will be processed upon your check in at our hostel.
