Perhaps Taganga's surrounding is a little bit too dirty for many. But your place is esthetically excellent. It is decorated by good taste and atmosphere. Sometimes there was lack of water and too loud music, that was uncomfortable. When I'll come to Taganga again, I'll come to Divanga. Thanks for your staff.
Hostel Overview
El albergue Divanga, member of the most important budget accommodation network in the world, Hostelling International, is located in a small fishing village called Taganga, very near Santa Marta Bay. Divanga Hostel is surrounded by mountains with beautiful views to watch the sunset and the seagulls. In Taganga there are many companies and schools where you can practice diving, snorkell and, if you prefer to take a boat tour on the bay, it is possible to rent boats. There are some nudist beaches for foreigners. Do not miss the delicious mojarra, pargo and the wide variety of marine fruits. The inhabitants still keep the tradition of fishing with atarraya, small boats and canoes. If you have time and some money and you like adventures, the hostel Divanga Bed & Breakfast can assist you to go on a tour to Tayrona National Park. If you are fit, we recommend you visit the great Ciudad Perdia (Lost City), that takes 3 days climbing and 2 days going down on foot or by mule. You can also go and see the peaks and lakes of Sierra Nevada.These destinations need a specilized guide and an official permit for the group.Hostel bed capacity
