Didn't find this hostel all that clean or tidy looking. Security with food is shocking..bathroom was disgusting as someone had been sick and nobody cleaned it for hours!

We stayed at two other yha's. Bridport Tasmania and Hobart Tasmania. Both of these hotel were so much better then Bondi.Bondi's maintenance of their hotel was shabby at best. Our room had no table, or chairs, only ONE stool to sit on for two people. The rest rooms were below standard for cleaning. We couldn't obtain any plates, cups or silverware as there wasn't any available. The over all attitude of the staff was,"Oh well"....The Montgomery Hotel in Hobart was a 100% turn a round. The room was clean. loaded with furniture including TV. Frig, well maintained restroom in the room. Staff knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

The Bondi Beachouse YHA is in a great location with friendly and helpful staff. The hostel offers large clean rooms and fantastic views over Sydney's most famous beach.
