Hostel Overview
Explore the Fjords region of Norway with Sunndalsøra Youth and Family Hostel! There are a range of tours and activities available for guests to enjoy. The hostel can arrange trips such as white water rafting, mountain climbing and glacier walking as well as guided tours to historic places and mighty waterfalls in the area. The hostel was built by the English "salmon tourist", Lord Phillip, in 1896. There are excellent opportunities for trout fishing in the river, and the hostel sells fishing cards and lets boats.Type of Accomodation: Appartments or Cabin.
Sunndal hostel is on the outskirts of Sunndalsøra center. The hostel has 4 bed room with its beautiful location overlooking the city and the fjord. We can take groups up to 50 to 60 people. We offer guided tours in the mountains in the summer and winter.
