Amazing hostel. The rooms were very clean. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The daily breakfast was a really great deal.

Some of the rooms are not very nice. I was initially allocated a room with no window that was very noisy. After asking about other rooms, the reception staf were good enough to move me to a better room (with a window). This was my 3rd stay in this hostel, the first two rooms were fine so maybe I was unlucky this time.

Quiet location well serviced by transport not enough local nightlife to stay around so needed to go back to Stockholm for entertainment / dining. Breakfast excellent staff informative would recommend.

All the staff was extraordnary friendly, the rooms are small but still spacious enough, very new and clen. The kitchen is amazing, equipped with all you need and sooo clean, I have never seen such a clean kitchen in a hostel, I was really impressed. Apart that the hostel is a little out of the city center I`d say that this is the perfect place to stay in Stockholm for people with a small travel budget.

Stayed in a family room which was really excellent. There is an ICA supermarket (signposted as 500m away -but it's a little longer than that) within walking distance, outdoor public pool just across the road and buses and underground train stations within walking distance. 3 free museums close by :ship, police and riksdroits museum. would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

staff are friendly but some of them didn't reply to our questions seriously. for instance, service of a certain bus stops at 6pm but the staff still told us and other people to take the bus at a certain bus stop. Some people believe in thme and waited there for quite a long time. i think they can be more cautious in answering our queries. Second comment is more serious. the kitchen is very clean but absolutely no ventilation. may i suggest improving it as soon as possible. many thanks

The staff was outstanding. They knew the directions and public transportation connections to everything in town. Their wealth of information made our stay much easier.

Clean, quiet, very comfortable rooms. Excellent self catering kitchen, very well equipped & super clean. Great breakfast and public transport plentiful. Lovely to have huge parkland across the road if like me you have kids in tow. Overall excellent.

Hostel Overview
Welcome to our combined STF Gärdet hotel & hostel. Centrally located in Stockholm, close to the unique Wasa museum, the outdoor park Skansen and many more attractions. Across the street is an outdoor swimmingpool, seasonal, Djurgården, Kaknästornet and the Maritime Museum are all within walking distance. Shopping is great in Stockholm from larger malls to unique boutiques. STF Gärdet is easily accessed by car and public transport.We offer accommodation in single rooms, double rooms and family rooms. All with WC, showers and TV. Some of the rooms are also equipped with a refrigerator. Guests have access to wireless Internet. All prices include sheets and towels. Breakfast available.
