Hostel staff moved all my personal stuff on two days without asking me in advance or requesting my permission which I found very disrespectful. Receprtion service was very poor, even could not print my flight Boarding Card.

Excellent location and pleasant, warm en suite room - so decided to saty a second night. It was very unclear as to whether the hostel offered an evening meal, and if so, when you had to book it. it was very quiet during our stay - which we appreciated. We had previously stayed, last year, at Nordwijk, and each night was disturbed by very rowdy school groups. The hostel staff comment was simply that 'schools are a big part of our business' - the implication being that individuals and couples mattered less. We had been considering bringing our own cycling group to Noordwijk this year, but as a result of our experience there we decided against it. Our stay in Dordrecht restored our faith in Dutch Youth Hostels.

Dordrecht is on the edge of the Hollandse Biesbosch national park, a beautiful area. The hostel?s Scandinavian wood construction gives it a warm feel. The bar and lounge are friendly places where people can meet and relax. Further into the building you?ll find the rooms, each with private sanitary facilities. At the back of the hostel there is a large terrace where you can enjoy the fantastic view of the Biesbosch when the weather is nice.Free Wi-Fi!
