Its actually attached to a hotel so you get a lot of the hotel benefits (e.g. free coffee machine) whilst accessing the cheaper hostel rooms. Sheet hire is, like every hostel in Norway, overpriced at 60kr.

We stayed for one night in June. The stay was good, only thing we did not like was that the room smelled very much with smoke.
Hostel Overview
Sortland Vandrerhjem opens at Easter 2009Sortland Vandrerhjem is located in the centre of Sortland. The hostel has 15 rooms, divided on 36 beds. Showers and wc are located in the hallway, with an exception of 5 rooms that have their own bathrooms. The reception for Sortland Vandrerhjem is located at Sortland Hotel, which is in front of the hostel. All inquiries about the hostel are directed to the reception at the hotel. It is also possible to buy breakfast coupons for NOK 60,- at the reception.
Sortland is known to be “the blue town along the strait” in Vesterålen in Nordland County. The small city has the biggest shopping centre in its region that also offers a wide specter of activities.
