Hostel Overview

Set in the World National Heritage of Shiretoko, the nearest hostel to Mt. Rausu, Shiretoko Five lakes, Kamuiwakka Falls etc. The old hostel and facilities, home generation of electricity, few bus service are the BEST surrounding that you discover the luxury of nature far away from excessively convenient life. The hostel adds Shiretoko Outdoor Guide Center and offers various outdoor tours. Would you like to experience great nature at the edge of the ground?

The meal is optional - please pick up from 800yen rice and curry, 1200yen atka mackerel set, 1600yen salmon roe bowl, 2200yen salmon roe bowl with crab, and 2500yen ram and octopus shabu-shabu. Please do not forget that the hostel is isolated from shops or restaurants. Please check in before 5:30pm for supper.

Check-in 1-8:30pm, check-out until 10am. We keep your luggage before check-in and after check-out.

In summer, local bus (Shari Bus Inc.) goes to the hostel. In winter, we drive to "Shiretoko Shizen Center (Shiretoko National Park Nature Center)" at 4:30pm to pick up guests.

知床国立公園内にあり、ラウス岳、知床五湖、カムイワッカ等に一番近いYHです。建物、設備は古く、電気は自家発電、バスの便も少ない場所ですが、便利な日常生活を脱皮して、自然を満喫するには最高の地です。YHは知床自然体験ビレッジAxを併説し、各種アウトドアツアーを行っています。皆さんも地の涯知床で世界有数の大自然を体験してみませんか？

食事は選択制で、「800円のカレーライス、1200円のホッケ定食、1600円のイクラ丼、2200円のカニ付きいくら丼、2500円のタコとラムのしゃぶしゃぶ」からお選びください。また、当YHの周りにコンビニやレストランなどは一切ありませんので、食事をとらない場合は自分で買ってきてください。夕食ご希望の方は17:30までにチェックインをお願いします。

基本的にチェックインは20:30まで、チェックアウトは10:00までですが、時間外であっても、荷物は預かります。

夏場は当YHまでのバスがありますが、冬は無いので、1日1回「知床自然センター」まで、16:30にお迎えに行きます。バスの時刻に関しては「斜里バス」にお問い合わせください。

Bus:	Take a bus run by Shari Bus Inc. for Shiretoko-Goko (Shiretoko Five Lakes), get off at Iwaobetsu and 3min walk to YH. In winter, we drive to "Shiretoko Shizen Center (Shiretoko National Park Nature Center)" at 4:30pm to pick up guests.

Rail:	Shiretoko-Shari Station on JR Senmo Line. Take a bus at bus stop in front of the station.
Airport:	From Memanbetsu Airport, take an Airport Liner to Utoro, change to a bus for Shiretoko-Goko (Shiretoko Five Lakes) and gett off at Iwaobetsu.
