every thing about this hostel says Hotel, easy to access,close to everything....buslines/subway/rail/ferries and the famous Bund

On arriving, I was told I had no booking, even with the 2 email, and text msg, I recieved for confirmation, the front office said that it's not the problem as they don't deal with Internet bookings! And make my fault, and became quite rude towards me! And only 24 hours later, did the except my deposit paid, on my second nights stay! It's not cool to be travelling alone in china, and to be told u don't have a place to stay, because they can be bother to check the booking! I had to repay, and luckily they had a bed open for me, enough said
Hostel Overview
This art-deco style building near the Bund was constructed in the 1920s. It now becomes a warm home of the back-packers from all over the world. The Captain hostel provides several kinds of room rates from 50 Yuan to more than a thousand Yuan. You can certainly find what you like here.The Captain Hostel lies beside the Huangpu River,only one minute's walk to the famous Shanghai Bund and less than 10 minutes walk to Nanjing Rd, People's Square and Yuyuan Garden.
