Lockers were a bit shoddy. Better directions needed on the website. I arrived on a Sunday when the little office off the main square was closed so it took a while to find.

Hostel Overview
Haris Youth Hostel is located in the old part of town called Vratnik. The distance of the hostel to the old part of town is a light ten minute walk.The environment of this part of the city was influenced by Turkey. In this area there are some tourist places like White Tabija,Kapi tower, where you can see all Sarajevo city.
The hostel is equipped with three large bedrooms--two five-bed rooms and one six-bed room--a living room, a terrace with a view of the city, and two bathrooms, and everything else you might need to feel comfortable. Staff and our office is available 24 hours to improve your stay at the hostel as well as the town. Come visit us. We promise to make your stay interesting and exciting, a time you won't easily forget. Haris Youth Hostel also offers its guests a variety of other services, including city tours, mountain biking, hiking, daily excursions from the city, and group tours around the whole of Bosnia and Hercegovina.

| Bus: | From the main Sarajevo bus and train station By Tram: Trams run every 15 minutes (every 20 minutes on Sundays) between 05:30am and 11:00pm. 1. Take tram No.1 and exit at Basčarsija station (8th stop). Please buy a ticket from the kiosk or tram driver, and remember to validate your ticket in the machines inside the tram. Tickets cost around 1.80 KM (.90c), but please be aware that Euros are not an accepted form of payment. 2. The office is 30 seconds away from this stop. Once you get off the tram you will see a wide street in font of you. To the right on the corner you will see a supermarket (Konzum). You need to take the smaller street to the right of this supermarket. Start walking up the hill, and the office is on the left hand side. 3. To come directly from Basčarsija to the hostel, take bus number 51 (Basčarsija - Vratnik) from the bus stop to the left of Konzum, next to the taxi stand. You can only buy your ticket from the driver. This will cost around 2 KM (1 Euro), but please note that you can only pay in KM. 4. Get out at the second stop (Mejdan). On your right there is a supermarket (Mak). Walk down the hill on the street 'Vratnik Mejdan' with the supermarket to your left. 5. Continue down the hill to Vratnik Mejdan 29 (on the right hand side), and press the button marked 'Hostel'. From Lukavica Bus Station By bus: Buses run every 15 minutes between 05:30am and 11:30pm from Monday to Saturday, and every 20 minutes between 07:00am and 11:30pm on Sundays. 1. Take bus number 31e (Vijecnica-Dobrinja). The journey lasts around 30 minutes. Get off the bus at the last station (Vijecnica). From here the office is about 3 minutes' walk. 2.From the bus stop you need to turn right onto the street with the tram lines on it. 3. Continue up this road until you come to the main square on the left hand side. 4.Turn right, you will see a supermarket (Konzum) You need to take the small street to the right of this supermarket. | Airport: | Airport If you are arriving by plane, the only way to get to our office is to take a taxi. This shouldn't cost more than 30KM (15€ ). All taxi drivers will accept Euros as well as KM. Alternatively, you can contact us and we will organise transport for you. |
