Hostel Overview
Rancho Lamarla is an adobe large house typical of this area, recycled and converted into a hostel. It is only 800 mts from the Cuesta del Viento dyke, therefore is ideal for practicing surfing and other adventure sports, speleology, horse riding and rafting. The sailing season goes from October to April. You can also enjoy the contryside, and the views of the Andes Mountain Range.The hostel overlooks a country house with fruit trees, and the parking and the organic orchard. All the ambiences overlook the "Palenque", a beautiful galery where you can have breakfast. We also have a kitchen equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave and complete crockery.
"El Mesón" Restaurant is a dinning room with two old tables matching country chairs, decorated with dyke´s photos and a huge stove that works with wood in the corner.
We also offer BBQ under willow trees with views of the lake and the mountain.
WHAT TO VISIT: Cuesta del Viento Dyke, Windsurf and Kitesurf School all year round, fishing, horse riding, walks, cycling, etc.
Finca El Martillo (rural tourism), Termas de Pismanta Hotel (just 20 km away), Agua Negra Pass (60 km away). Visit to Columnar Basalt and Dressed Stone Lava (5 km away).

| Bus: | Valle del Sol Company, departures everyday at 15.00. It drops you at the 150 Route and Sta. Lucía Street. Walk 1 km along a dusty path and look for the signs "zona de viento". Transportes MUGNOS - It goes from door to door. Tel: 0264 421-3109 everyday from 7.00am and it returns at 1.00pm. |
