Staff really nice! Place really really nice, especially the garden in which you can breakfast! Useful location, close to the city center.

I usually do not stay in hotals, but was very impressed with the staff and the people who stayed there. It was a terrific stay.

I was in bad luck because they had problems with the water which affected the stay. Also the double room with two seperate beds and private shower had very thin walls and you could hear everything from the garden surrounding it.

No había agua caliente en las duchas, el desayuno muy pobre y mal atendido y las computadoras funcionaban esporádicamente en su conexión con internet. La casa es muy linda.

We had a private 2 person room, it was not spotless, but cozy and matched the expected standards of a hostel. Staff was very freindly and helpful (except for an older crepy guy that hang around all day smoking cigarets from early in the morning while people were eating breakfast, and being a little too freindly with the very young girls).
Hostel Overview
Our Hostel is located in the historical centre of the city just 2 blocks away from the Zocalo. Pretty near from the important turistic areas, churches, museums, enterntainment centers and turistic circuits. We offer dorms for men, women and mixed as well as private rooms with bathroom and TV. Breakfast is included. Green areas and a beautiful Galleria with local and regional artworks. Here you will find cleanliness, security, the best attention and a very nice atmosphere. Our multilingual staff will make you feel at home. Price and quality.Located in the very south of Mexico, it is a beautiful city full of history and tradition, where you will have the chance to visit The Portales, the Museum of the Altos of Chiapas, the Cultural Center, and the Museum Na Bolom, that keeps a small piece from the almost disappeared forest lacandona, and the rich and colorful crafts of the looms use for the natives costumes. You can´t miss the Market of San Cristóbal, where the natives of the zone, arrive at early hour to sell its products. We recommended to visit , the towns of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán, Tuxtla Gutiérrez the State Capital, the impressive Sumidero Canyon, the Lagoons of Montebello, the Blue Water Cascades and finally the archaeological zone of Palenque, worthy sample of the splendor of the Mayan culture.
