A kettle would be very useful in the self-catering kitchen and some detailed instructions in English as to how to use the microwave

Inspired choice of hostel. Reception staff extremely helpful. Sorry I only had time for one overnight because I would have relished a longer stay. Maybe next time? The facilities are extraordinary and used by encouragingly varied groups and organisations. Most enlightening. I found it rather easy to get lost in the town of St Brieuc-s-Mer and, fortunately, once I'd found one sign indicating 'Auberge de Jeunnesse' it was easy to follow the others. The difficulty was finding the first one! The hostel location map within the FUAJ annual Hostel book isn't hugely helpful in this regard.
Hostel Overview
Set in a fine, 15th-century Breton building, the hostel is 3km north west of the town centre and 6km from the seaside. There is capacity for 125 guests and facilities include TV, table tennis, badminton, petanque, bike hire, laundry and kitchen.Hostel bed capacity
