Hostel Overview

The hostel is surrounded by nature in the vicinity of Lake Värmeln and Brunskog Church. Here you can stay overnight if you are passing through or come here and take it easy and make great day trips to see and experience everything that Värmland has to offer.

A short distance from the hostel at Värmeln north bank of Skutboudden and Brunskog Homestead. Held here during the year various events, including Old Vala and Christmas. There is also a Brunskog Pottery which has its engineering and sales year-round. On the Homestead are also Skutbouddens Restaurant which can be subscribed by such wedding venue, conferences and bus groups.

In the region around Arvika are many artisans: Vildhjärta, Rackstadmuseet and Klässbols weaving cloths to Nobelfesten.10 miles from the hostel is located Arvika Golf Club with an 18-hole golf course. When winter weather permits there are several alpine plants which can be accessed by day trips, and lakes for long-distance skating.
